Lent Day 40 - Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the Holy Week leading to Easter Sunday. It is when we reflect on Jesus' triumphant entrance into Jerusalem, when people laid down palms and branches in front of him as a sign of honour. Let us reflect on the selfless love Jesus showed by laying down his life for us, and reflect on how we can show that same love to those around us.
A Blessing for Palm Sunday
God Most High, gracious and glorious, blessed is the one who comes in your name. Lead us now on the road to the cross. May we follow with faithfulness and joy, shouting hosanna in the highest heaven; through Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord.
