I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
As we have reflected on Psalm 23 over these last three weeks we have seen how the Good Shepherd is with us in all the situations, circumstances and places we journey too and through in life. He is ever present, always seeking what’s best for us, always watching over, protecting, caring, guiding, disciplining, helping us through. His goodness and mercy are available each and every day throughout our whole lives.
Now we come to this last verse or statement and wow what a statement David makes at the end of this Psalm of the Shepherd, “I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” This is the final destination of the journey for each of us to attain. What a glorious hope and future!
